Bare Escentuals Buxom Lip Cream Review & Swatches

Bare Escentuals Buxom Lip Cream has been a favorite of mine for over a year. As I mention a few weeks ago, I’m a bit of a lip gloss convert, but Buxom Lip Polish has been in my arsenal since their start and there’s a very simple reason – they tingle.

They don’t just sit on your lips like slime. They feel exactly like your teeth right after you’ve brushed, but on your lips and it’s awesome. It’s refreshing and delightful.

Most Buxom glosses are sparkly, which you know I love, but sometimes (I can’t believe I’m saying this) you just want a juicy, opaque, pop of color. This is where Lip Creams come in.

They are highly pigmented, delicious looking and have the signature tingle of their sisters polishes.

They also have great, moisturizing and anti-aging ingredients like Vitamins A & E, and Hyaluronic acid.

Buxom Lip Cream Swatches
1. Pink Lady is a very light, blue-toned pink. It’s subtle and pretty and a nice place to start if you aren’t into the bolder colors.

2. Cherry Flip is an orange-y toned red shade. This one is phenomenal and a great “starter red” if you’re usually afraid of full-on red lips.

3. Berry Blast is first, my absolute FAVORITE of the bunch. Secondly, it’s a bright, fuchsia pink that is surprisingly wearable.

Look see. Here’s a very blurry picture of me wearing Berry Blast. Ta’ da!
